Horasis China Meeting a boost for innovation and investment in Vietnam

This past month Horasis China Meeting 2024, with the theme “Vietnam and China drive ahead”, opened in the southern province of Binh Duong to drive business and tech investment for Vietnam and the greater region.

The international conference, co-organized by the provincial People’s Committee, Becamex IDC Corporation, and the China Federation of Industrial Economics was an important step forward to promote economic cooperation between Vietnam and China.

Vietnam’s Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha, a speaker at the conference, said that the meeting creates an opportunity for all parties to share visions, seek opportunities, and strengthen cooperation in innovation, sustainable development, and science and technology.

Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Minh said that by hosting the Horasis China Meeting, Binh Duong hopes to find important solutions, create favorable conditions for entrepreneurs to access development strategies, and intensify new cooperation to promote economic development.

At the conference Binh Duong granted investment approval decisions and investment registration certificates to 17 domestic and foreign-invested projects.

Horasis is an independent, international think tank, headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland. Founded in 2005 by Frank-Jürgen Richter, the organization is committed to fostering innovation and promoting the sustainable development of emerging markets.
